Circadian Sunrise PM Plus is a new fungicide, insecticide, and miticide. It blends old school technology with new (patent on file with United States Patent Office) to create an effective organic horticultural oil derived from nature instead of petroleum, such as those paraffinic and mineral oils widely sold. Unlike those products ours is from a renewable resource. Our oil breaks down in the environment and can be metabolized by plants and animals. It is non-toxic to bees and other beneficial insects, though it can smother them. It caused no eye irritation in rabbits. It killed no rats in acute toxicity testing. It killed no birds in avian dietary and acute toxicity testing. The FDA would approve the product for use as a soap or body lotion. As with any horticultural oil there is a possibility of phytotoxic reactions if plants are water stressed or if sprayed at midday during a heat wave, but unlike other horticultural oils we have not seen problems with applying Circadian Sunrise PM Plus following sulfur applications.
